The manual page for instance_nearest says:
"This function will check all the instances of the given object to see which is nearest to the given point of origin."
This could be confusing as it could mean that the distance is checked between the point specified in the function and any point in the instances being checked against. However, the check is being performed between the point expressed in the function and the points of origin of the instances.
This should specify that it checks from the point of origin defined by the user in the function to the points of origin of the instances being checked against.
