Summary0031404: DnD Editor: Pressing Ctrl+Z while a text box is selected in DND triggers undo but does nothing
DescriptionIf the user has a code block which allows for text entry, and the cursor is in that text box, and they press ctrl + z to undo, the undo function will begin to behave in unexpected ways. This is most easily reproduced by opening a project, creating an object, adding an event, adding an assign variable and pressing ctrl + z 4 or 5 times and then checking the edit menu. The user will be unable to undo or redo their actions.
Steps To Reproduce1 - Launch GMS2 in DND
2 - Import Asteroids (see attachment)
3 - Open obj_controller
4 - Add a new event
5 - Add a new code block (assign variable, for example) which allows for text entry
6 - Press Ctrl + Z repeatedly (up to 5 times)
7 - Click Edit
8 - Notice the undo and redo are grayed out even though nothing in the IDE has changed
