Summary0031389: Preferences: "Add bias to text selection to prevent line jumping" setting causes issues when highlighting multiple lines
DescriptionIn the code editor, selecting several text lines with your mouse along the 1st column you will see the selection range often jumps rapidly between two rows. This most noticeable when highlighting slowly. This is ironically due to the General Settings > Input setting "Add bias to text selection to prevent line jumping" and if you turn this setting off (it is on by default), then the issue is stopped.

Expected: The preference should at least be off by default and probably part of "Text Editor", not "General Settings > Input". But it actually now feels like the Preference was a workaround for some other earlier issue now fixed and so we should consider removing it.
Steps To Reproduce1. open a project
2. open a code editor with code that has white space lines

inst1 = instance_create_layer(x, y, "Instances", oFloor);
inst2 = instance_create_layer(x+128, y, "Instances", oBox);

anchorX = inst1.x;
anchorY = inst1.y;

3. click and hold left mouse on a line above the white space
4. slowly move the mouse down over the empty lines
5. observe jittering effect as shown in attached gif
