|Summary||0031275: iOS: Splash screens are not showing any more|
|Description||We have a couple of reports about iOS splash screens are not showing any more (on a variety of devices/simulators), and I have now confirmed this.|
A couple of the reports were made using simulators, and when I attempted to reproduce, Xcode asked me to do a command line tools update and after this I started getting simulator errors even though I was using a real device. Had to run a Terminal command to fix (apparently, a reboot of the Mac would have done just as well). As the simulator tools appear to be involved in the compileXib stage, it's possible there has been a tools update we need to respond to and change our splash screen packaging again.
The splash screen doesn't show at all using an iPhone 6S+.
|Steps To Reproduce||1. Run P:\GMS2-Bugs\0031275-VineQuest.yyz for iOS.|
2. Observe the splash screen set in Game Options > iOS does not show, instead you get a lengthy black screen and then go straight into gameplay.
