|Summary||0031074: Room Editor: Cutting tiles when any instance is also selected will silently delete that instance|
|Description||Within the Room Editor, cutting tiles when any instance is also selected will silently destroy that instance - if you press the Delete key you will see we already handle this correctly, but Cut simply removes everything selected, ignoring the change of resource type / different layer aspect.|
You also then need to use Ctrl+Z twice to fix this issue, with the first one simply restoring the tile, meaning this can make you think the instance is not recoverable.
|Steps To Reproduce||1. Import the attached project.|
2. Open the room.
3. Ensure the Instance layer is selected, then click the instance in the middle of the room.
4. Now select the tile layer and then click the Select Tiles button on the toolbar.
5. Select at least one tile.
6. Ctrl+X and observe your tile is now attached to the mouse cursor as expected, but your instance was silently deleted.
