Summary0030398: UWP: Pressing start on the Xbox One Controller whilst start isn't mapped to anything will dim your screen
DescriptionIf you press start on the Xbox One Controller whilst you haven't mapped it to anything then your screen will dim until you press start again and then it will undim.

Seems like we shouldn't do anything here if you're not using the start button in your game.
Steps To Reproduce1) Run the project
2) Press the start button
3) See that the game dims out

Is this actually us? Would have thought it was Windows or the Game Bar stuff, or something, being bound to the Start button.

Yes, this is the Game Bar system on Windows taking over the button. If you want to stop this, then when the overlay is showing, click the Settings button on the bar at the top-centre of your screen and then go to Shortcuts and unclick the checkbox for Game Bar to respond to the pad's home button. This will immediately stop further button presses from bringing up the overlay.

(You can also change this setting at any time if you check your Windows 10 settings app for "game bar" and untick the checkbox or even disable Game Bar entirely.)

If you're on a current version of GMS2 and all you're getting is a blank grey overlay (none of the social/capturing tools), then please do Windows Update and ensure Game Bar is up-to-date, as this isn't something we can fix.
