|Summary||0029844: Code Editor: Navigating to code lines via Search or Syntax error results goes to incorrect position in Code Editor|
|Description||If you double-click on a Search result, or a syntax error, to go to that line of code, if the code is in an object event (and the event opens in a code window chained to the object), the editor will not display the correct line of code, instead showing the line below it at the top of the editor.|
This only occurs if the object in which the code resides isn't currently open, and the event code doesn't open in the fullscreen editor.
The position is off by one, so needs to be moved down slightly to be visible in the editor. At the moment, users have to scroll down, and that's not immediately apparent, as sometimes I've been caught off guard wondering where my line is.
Expected: Double-clicking on a search or syntax result will navigate and highlight the line at the top of the editor.
|Steps To Reproduce||1. Open any project with a decent amount of code.|
2. Ensure no objects are open and your event code opens in a floating editor.
3. Search for code in the project, navigate to one of the search results by double clicking on it.
4. Observe that your line of code isn't visible.
5. Scroll up slightly.
6. Observe that the line is now visible, as previously it was hidden by the tab bar.
