Summary0029363: Google Play Services: Admob update has a COARSE_LOCATION permission which is not required
DescriptionWhen I uploaded an app to the Play store with the new admob SDK, I was warned that users will now have to agree to give the COARSE_LOCATION permission for my game on install. This permission is flagged as "Dangerous" by Google, and in general, users do NOT like this kind of thing unless they can see why it's justified. So, I would recommend removing that permission from the extension, and instead simply documenting that it can be added if the user wants it. It's not something that most people will need, and it will save a lot of complaints from users later I think, and as long as it's documented that it can be added, I can see no reason not to remove it.
Steps To ReproduceOpen the project supplied.
Open the Mobile Ads extension
Click the "Android" extra platform
Note the permission ACCESS_COARSE_LOCATION

Permission removed, checked the extension against Mark's Microscope Madness, and ads still worked. Recommendation therefore is to go without it, but users can re-add it if they have a justification.
