|Summary||0019586: Suggestion: Dock: Windows can't hover over dock area|
|Description||Windows dock if they're dropped within a dock area. That's annoying. I want to be able to hover a window over the dock area without docking it. The resource tree takes up the height of the display but without any expanded nodes only uses half of that height. I want to hover the history window, for example, over the bottom portion of the docked resource tree - but not dock it.|
The fix is easy - we're already doing it to create the very first docked gadget. Drag the window far enough to the top/bottom/left/right to dock it, otherwise let it float. We just need to apply that same logic to existing docks.
