|Summary||0016566: Functions: ds_map_read does not work in HTML5|
|Description||Execute the example project (available in "Sample URL") in debug mode (HTML5 target); |
Click anywhere to run the code in object "oTest";
ini file is created and ds_map is saved;
Click again to read the ds_map with ds_map_read;
Check the errors in the debug console.
This code works well in 1.3.x version (HTML5) and Windows target (1.3/1.4) as well.

ds_map_read_bug.gmz (925,812 bytes)
|Reproduced in 1.99.267 - assigned.|
|Still reproduced in 1.4.1757. Note that ds_map_write also behaves differently, it outputs plain text. So maybe ds_map_read is expecting the old method?|
Small fix for "basic" ds_map_read and json files added. Will not go to an INI as JSON has lots of issues for this. However, ds_map_write can be used, and the filename saved to the INI file instead.
A larger fix (moving to the windows ds_map_write format) will come some time in the future.
|This is already fixed in gitlab together with other oddities related to storing JSON structures inside INI keys.|
||Mass-closing some super-old resolves. Will add them as new issues with fresh info if they are reported again.|
