Summary0014911: Windows: Multitouch does not work on Windows [platform using a touchscreen under Windows 8]
DescriptionMulti-touch appears not to work on Windows 8 tablets under the normal windows (desktop) export.

I can use multitouch functionallity in MS Paint, and Flash Aplications on the Desktop. So I know, it is possible to have Multitouch in Windows on this device in the Desktop mode. But I only get one touch-point to work. In Windows 8 native I can use all 5 points my Screen supported. I am wondering, what if my screen would be able to use 10 points like the iPad does? Is it limited to 5 devices? Also I don`t know, how to use touchscreen and touchpad/mouse at the same time. Maybe that doesn´t work. I know that in Flash Professional the Touch-Events are working like mouse-events, but have other function names.

I have 5 objects on screen with different "index_" numbers

in the step-event is the following
/// Loop

if device_mouse_check_button(index_, mb_left)
visible = true;
x = device_mouse_x(index_);
y = device_mouse_y(index_);

// Plasma Zeichnen
visible = false;

it works fine in "Windows 8 native", but not in "Windows"

Unable to confirm now, as missing required device. If this still happens in the current GMS2 release, then we will investigate a fresh report. Closing.
