DescriptionI'd like to wish for functions audio_emitter_is_playing(emitter_id) and audio_emitter_is_paused(emitter_id) to check if sound instances created from emitters using audio_play_sound_on() are playing/paused.

Complementary for http://bugs.yoyogames.com/view.php?id=14002

A mild correction, perhaps the functions should have syntax like:

audio_emitter_is_playing(emitter_id, sound_id) / audio_emitter_is_paused(emitter_id, sound_id)

since we also need to check for a particular sound and not just the emitter

so:

audio_emitter_is_playing(my_emitter, snd_boom);

checks whether a snd_boom is currently playing on the emitter my_emitter.

Also the functions could be named:

audio_is_playing_on()
audio_is_paused_on()

Some ideas.
