Summary0026586: Windows: [GMS2] Game has incorrect horizontal scaling and slowdown if IDE isn't in focus during compilation
DescriptionIf you start to run your game and then click on a window on another screen when your game actually starts it will have a large amount of slowdown as well as weird horizontal scaling which can be seen most noteably by looking at the cursors scaling and movement.
Steps To Reproduce1) Run the game
2) Switch to an application on your second monitor
3) Wait for it to finish building
4) When it starts focus will be put onto the game
5) See that your cursor is slow moving and also a weird scale
6) Click on the game
7) Wait for it to minimise
8) Click on it again
9) See that your slowdown is gone and the scaling is fixed

There doesn't seem to be a way of forcing an app to be full screen if it's not the activated window, but now it tries to reapply the fullscreen setting when the app is reselected. Not a perfect solution but it seems to be the best we can do.
