Description:
I just purchased GameMaker 8.1 and received an activation key. I cut and
pasted it into the appropriate box when the program opened, then pressed
enter and the computer plays a little "ding" noise and nothing else
happens, the program does not accept the number. I have cookies turned on
and firewalls off as suggested in the FAQ.

I don't know if the problem is the activation key or the program as there
is no feedback given that the key is correct or incorrect.

I both installed and ran the program as administrator.
